KOCAELI, TURKEY

A week ago I got home from Kocaeli, in Turkey where I have been competing at the Europeans in karate. Unfortunately I did not get a medal with me back home and thereto I am a bit disappointed about my performance. But that didn't change the fact that it was a good trip anyways. I really enjoy living in a karate bubble for a week doing nothing but preparing, training, doing and watch karate. Also, the weather was really good besides from two really rainy days and that was nice for a change cause it seems like spring doesn't want to come to Denmark. One day where there was a little break in between the medal fights a little fruit market appeared just outside the sports hall and it looked so nice. In general my impression of Kocaeli is that it's a nice and modern city, which the city has kept very nice and clean.
