PARIS

You heard me right, en heeel dag.

Last thursday I went to Paris for 4 days as I was going to participate in a big international karate tournament hosted in the city of love. Usually we do not have any time what so ever for sightseeing when we travel abroad for tournaments, but this time we actually had an entire day. Yeah you heard me right, a whole day. It is the third time I am visiting Paris and the first time was 6 years ago. At that time I thought that Paris was a bit overrated, however when I look at the city today I am way more excited about it. There are so many cosy streets and lots of history is shown in the city and additionally there are millions of museums, which each have their very own speciality. Also, it is super easy traveling around Paris in metro and as a matter of fact they keep their metro system in the same way as in London, which is easy to work with.
Regarding the tournament my performance went really well, even though I did not get a medal with me at home. I got ranked as top 8 out of 60 participants. I got a lot of good matches and I got to practice a lot of the elements we are working with in our daily training into the fights. For now I am going back to the karate hall to get even better.
